Section 5: > How The Life Insurance Plan Works > Converting Your Coverage

Converting Your Coverage

You may be able to convert your life insurance coverage to an individual policy, issued by Hartford Life, if you're no longer eligible for coverage under the Life Insurance Plan. You won't be required to submit evidence of good health, but you will be responsible for paying the full premium for coverage.

You may convert any amount of insurance up to the amount you had while covered by the Fund. If you want to convert your life insurance coverage, contact the Administrative Office within 31 days after your coverage ends to obtain the applicable conversion forms.
