Benefit Plan Checklist

If your reduction in work results in insufficient earnings to maintain continuing coverage, you may be eligible to extend your coverage in one of several ways. Please review the Extended Coverage/COBRA BenefitTabs.

If you are not eligible for any of the extended coverage programs offered by the Health Fund, under most circumstances you may elect to purchase COBRA Continuation Coverage.

If your reduction in work results in insufficient earnings to accrue a Qualified Year under the Pension Plan, please review the Break in Service BenefitTabs under the Pension Plan.

You should check your vesting status under the Pension Plan to determine whether you are vested for a pension benefit. Since a vested benefit will not be payable until you reach the earliest retirement age, you must keep your address information current with the Administrative Office.
