Participant or Spouse Turning 65

Turning 65 is a milestone, for some it may mean retirement and a chance to relax and begin enjoying the second half of life. Turning 65 also means that you are now eligible for Medicare. The following information will aid your understanding of how your Health Fund benefits will coordinate with Medicare.

Benefit Plan Checklist

You need to enroll for both Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B to receive the maximum available benefits under this Plan. If a Participant does not enroll in and utilize Medicare Parts A & B when eligible, benefits payable under this Plan will still be reduced by the amount Medicare would have paid under Medicare Parts A & B.
