Yes, it’s that time of the year… flu season. This year, the Health Fund will not be providing flu shots as its physical offices are closed due to COVID concerns. However, you can obtain your flu shot at your local pharmacy or from your physician, usually at no charge.
If you live in the Los Angeles area, free flu vaccinations are available at any of the Motion Picture Television Fund Health Clinics. Just call: (818) 556-2700 to make an appointment. You can also obtain free flu vaccinations through California’s health services at: myturn.ca.gov.
For a non-traditional provider where you have to pay up front (e.g., a drug store), just submit a completed Participant Submitted Claim form along with a copy of the itemized invoice and we’ll process your claim for reimbursement as soon as possible. Click here to learn more.
